Artist's Comments

This I started forever ago, over a year actually.
Anway, yesterday I was pouring through my old sketchbooks looking for something old to work on because I was tired of half-finished works. So while I was working on it, my older sister was wandering through doing her own thing. Well, yesterday was also my sister's birthday. So I figured that, because she reminded me of an own so much, I would finish it before she left and give it to her. Well, in a total of 3 hrs and 3 minutes exactly...
Here it is!


Also, I only used one picture for reference, and the whole thing would fit inside the body of the drawn owl! :D

All I used was a simple piece of sketch paper and a 7.0 mechanical pencil! :D I hope you guys enjoy it! And by the way, please don't forget to ask for commissions......

Beautiful job, Morggy. I adore it. Your shading is getting really good now. I want a pet owl. :( Snowy owls are endangered, though, and that's the one I want. *Le sigh*

Wow that's really fantastic, the shading! And now I really want a pet owl, just like in Harry Potter.

Some constructive crit, well I'm not sure, but wouldn't the beak be a bit bigger?

thanks! ^_^ I'm always looking for Constructive Crit....and to be honest, that's the way it was with the reference pic I used...the beak was really small.
