I am the Faery child
I see the glittering lights of hidden cities
I feel the magic swirl around me with every step
I think in the ways of my invisible friends
I am the hidden one
I taste the morning dew on every blade of grass
I hear the tinkling laughter of those who fly
I sing the sacred songs of nature’s lovers
I am the one they call “Le Fey”
I dance to drums within
I laugh with the giddiness of magic wine
I love those who wrap their arms around me
I am the Priestess of Avalon

Another work of art, although I originally wrote this for a Student Lesson Plan for my english class, I love it anyway. Too bad they don't have more catagories for the poetry, for this is an "I Am " poem as those of you who are observational can see... enjoy

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
